


Apple Dumplings
2 - 8ct cans of Crescent Rolls
4 large Granny Smith Apples
1 cup Butter
1-1/2 cups White Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
8 oz. Mountain Dew
1. Melt butter in a medium skillet. Then stir in cinnamon
and sugar.
2. Peel apples and slice each apple into 4 wedges.
3. Roll each apple wedge with a crescent roll triangle.
4. Place rolled apples in a 9x13 baking dish.
5. Cover apples with cinnamon/sugar mixture.
6. Pour Mountain Dew around rolled apples (not on apples).
7. Bake at 350 degrees 30-45 minutes or until golden
brown.
Taco Soup
2 lbs. Ground Beef
Onion Powder or Diced Onion, to taste
2 Envelopes Taco Seasoning
1 Envelope Ranch Seasoning
2 tsp. Chili Powder
Cavender's Seasoning, to taste
2 cans Whole Tomatoes
1 can Rotel
1 can Mexican Tomatoes
1 can Whole Kernel Corn
1 can Yellow Hominy, optional
1 can Light Kidney Beans
2 cans Shoe Peg Corn
1. Brown meat with onion in large pot. Drain meat & return
to pot.
2. Stir in the rest of the ingredients.
3. After bringing to a boil simmer on stove top for 1 to 1 1/2
hours then
turn on low for 3 to 4 hours.
4. Serve with your favorite toppings such as, shredded
cheese, sour
cream, and chip or crackers.
Black Bottom Cupcakes
8 oz package Shurfine Cream Cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup Shurfine Granulated Sugar
1/8 tsp. Shurfine Salt
6 oz Shurfine Chocolate Chips
1 package Shurfine Devil's Food Cake Mix
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt, mix until
well blended.
3. Mix in chocolate chips and set aside.
4. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions.
5. Fill paper cupcake liners 1/2 full with cake batter.
6. Top with heaping Tablespoon of cream cheese mixture.
7. Sprinkle with additional granulated sugar.
8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 24 cupcakes.

3 cans (14.5 oz each) Shurfine Cut Green Beans, drained
1 - 10.5 oz. Shurfine Cream of Mushroom Soup
3/4 cup Shurfine Milk
dash of Shurfine Pepper
1-1/4 cups Shurfine Fried Onions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and
pepper.
3. Place in a medium casserole dish.
4. Bake for 30 minutes.
5. Remove from oven; stir.
6. Top with Shurfine Fried Onions.
7. Bake 5 minutes more or until onions are golden brown.
Fresh Fruit Salsa
1 pound fresh Strawberries
3 Kiwis
2 Granny Smith Apples
1 Tbsp Orange Juice
2 Tbsp Grape Jelly
1. Peel kiwi. Then dice kiwi, strawberries, and apples into a
large bowl.
2. Stir in orange juice and grape jelly.
3. Store covered in refrigerator. Serve with Cinnamon Baked
Tortilla
Chips.
Cinnamon Baked Tortilla Chips
8" or 10" Flour Tortillas
Ground Cinnamon
Cooking Spray
1. Cut flour tortillas into 8-10 triangles.
2. Spray tortillas with cooking spray on one side & then sprinkle
with
ground cinnamon.
3. Place tortillas (cinnamon side down) on baking sheet.
4. Spray top side with cooking spray & sprinkle with ground
cinnamon.
5. Bake at 350 degrees 5-7 minutes or until light brown & crispy.
6. Store cooled chips in an airtight container.
